Chicago Dowel manufactures high-quality wooden dowel rods in a variety of species and sizes for use in a wide range of applications. Extensive warehousing capabilities allow for same-day shipping on most common sizes. FSC® dowel rods are available upon request.
Diameter Range: 1/8” to 2”
Length: 3, 4, 5, and 6 foot are commonly stocked.
Longer lengths, up to 16’ available on special order.
Species: Birch, Oak, Maple, Poplar are the most readily available. Other species subject to availability. Please inquire.
Surface: Dowel Rods are sold machine-smooth. For projects requiring a smoother surface, sanding operations are available.
Packaging: Dowel Rods are bundled and wrapped in either polypropylene or corrugated packaging. Larger orders are palletized and shrink-wrapped.
Chicago Dowel has the capability of adding various extra operations to its dowel rods. Dowel rods are sold machine smooth. For an extra smooth finish, please inquire upon sanding.
